Propongo que me designen a mí (victorkane: http://drupal.org/user/36006 / http://groups.drupal.org/user/1795) moderador de este grupo, ya que:
- Ha sido abandonado por la persona que lo creó.
- Tiene una razón muy buena de existir: Queremos organizar una serie de reuniones y talleres informales en la ciudad de Buenos Aires para fortalecer los lazos entre desarrolladores de Drupal que viven aquí, dandoles una oportunidad de verse cara a cara. Esto fortalecerá la presencia de Drupal en Buenos Aires.

I propose that I (victorkane: http://drupal.org/user/36006 / http://groups.drupal.org/user/1795) should be designated moderator of this group for the following reasons:
- It has been abandoned by the person who created it.
- It has a very good reason to continue existing: We wish to organize an ongoing number of meetings and informal workshops in the city of Buenos Aires itself in order to strengthen relationships among Drupal developers living here, giving them the chance to have face to face meetings. This will strengthen the Drupal presence in Buenos Aires.

I didn´t knew you thougth on that too!
I´ve sent an email to Moshe several days ago, and I asked him to made me an administrator of Buenos Aires group (because the group admin is ... alive and well I hope, but nowhere to bee seen!).
It´s ok, I just wanted to make use of that group, so all other events that we´ve planned we can project them inside that group aswell.
Rigth now, we´ve 12 posts in "Buenos Aires events" tag inside argentinian group, so we could use that group too.
As you´ve said, we´re organizing several events in Argentinian Group, and as all those are inside Buenos Aires, we would like to keep up with that Buenos Aires group aswell.
Anyway, the thing is that we keep making great events like all those already organized!

Anyway, I think that we´re doing a pretty good job organizing events in Argentinian group, but yeah, all events we´re organizing are in Buenos Aires after all... (hehe that´s why I ask Moshe to me a moderator there in the first place :)
(Off the record: there´s a pretty interesting discussion about the real need to create subgroups here).

Please put this in the Webmasters issue queue http://drupal.org/node/add/project-issue/webmasters and select the "Groups.drupal.org" component. I understand that you spoke to Moshe, but in my experience, if it isn't in the queue, it doesn't get done.

About the moderation of the Buenos Aires group
Hi there!
I think it´s OK if Victor is the Buenos Aires Group moderator. I propposed myself just because the group was so dead. But if Victor want to do something interesting with it (and he is working in a Drupal Dojo yay!), that´s perfect. And certainly, it´s OK with me.
