2007-11-21 18:00 - 20:00 America/Los_Angeles It was determined at the last meeting that we would meet every other Wednesday at 6:00 PM until 8-ish (or until our host(s) get(s) tired of us and kick(s) us out).
I don't remember if we determined a meeting place or not, so I'll leave that as a TBD until someone chimes in with definite information.
The first meeting was mostly a get-to-know each other, and what everyone uses or plans to use Drupal for. We're hoping to use this meeting (Nov. 21) to begin a group collaboration on a LVDUG website based on Drupal.

I say we go ahead and do it over here at our place again... I think we'll have a couple of more people next time and I have some padded chairs in my storage if we need them.
I'm getting the domain today and getting it set up on a host for us to start our group project we talked about. I think that'll be a great way for us to go through the whole Drupal process together and all get more or less on the same page... maybe even fill in a few holes for those of us (like oadaeh) who are way ahead of the group in terms of development..
So next meeting... November 21st... at mi casa!

The Las Vegas Drupal Users Group Website...
As we talked about in the first meeting, I've obtained a domain and hosting for our group's website, which will become our project site through which we all learn and get on the same page, and ultimately a platform for future endeavors...

The other day I set up the hosting, database, and did a fresh install of Drupal so we'll be all set up and ready to get going right off the bat tomorrow evening at the meeting. If you are coming and need directions, etc, email me at purrin@binary.net
Oh yeah, I've been putting together a quick layout so we can go through the process of building and integrating a themed look to our site... I hope to have time to finish that for tomorrow's meeting, as well. Either way I'm sure we can spend quite a bit of time just configuring the site and going over things step by step so that we are all on the same page.
