Hello all:
University of Santo Tomas will be holding a 3-day summit on IT either on Jan 21-23 or second week of February. I have been asked if I can refer speakers on any web development platform.
In this regard, I would like anybody from the group to come over and do a talk on Drupal. The summit will invite students from other universities as well. I think this would be a good venue to let future IT people know about Drupal.
Many thanks, Jun D!

CPU 3D Session: Down and Dirty with Drupal
Visit www.cp-union.org.
You may also volunteer if interested in one of the topics posted. Just take note of the intended audience of the 3D session.
Maybe Available
I'm presenting on PHP Everywhere Conference on Dec 1 for Drupal topic (http://www.phpugph.com/conference/), it can be recyclable then just add more bits into it.
Depending on the work schedule, I may be still in the country until Feb so just drop me and email at rpfilomeno/gmail.
Pwede ba ang multi-person?
Jun D,
Baka naman masmaganda kung hindi isang tao lang ang magsasalita, kasi iba-iba naman tayo nang specialty sa Drupal.
Siguro, mas interesting ang talk kapag may different perspective from different speakers.
By the way Rick, mukhang maganda rin ung CPU 3D Session ninyo this Saturday and Sunday.

+1
One person can't probably cover the topic good enough. I'm more of for newbie audience, Why switch to Drupal kind of approach.
A tandem would be good. For
A tandem would be good. For example, "basics" (e.g. installation, configuration, etc) for the first speaker and then "cool stuff" (e.g. cute/supercool modules) for another segment.

Drupal in UST Updates
Many thanks to those who have volunteered to give a talk on Drupal in UST. The details will be finalized this week and I will be emailing a soft copy of the proposal. Actually, I was thinking of posting the proposal (MS Word file format), kaya lang how do I attach files to posted comments? :-)

Google Docs
try docs.google.com so it can be downloaded in any format too.
Attaching on a comment
Attaching on a comment requires a server or a host for you to link the file.
I suggest the you post it via editing this node and utilizing the "attach file" form so that It becomes a file attachment. Better yet, create a new event and attach the file there, para mabigyan nang focus ang event and yung attachment mo.

I'm In!
Hi everyone, I've got good news. I'll be staying in Pinas till 2008 -- my scholarship has been deferred for 2009. This means we can still meet up.
Jun, I can probably give a short talk about Drupal.
Thanks,
benx

P.S. I've touched base with a student getting started in Drupal. I've encouraged him to drop by the office for any concern on Drupal and hope to mentor him in the days ahead :-)
Congrats!
Jun, congrats! Pictures please!
Nagkasakit ang wife ko and I had to stay home to take care of her, kaya di ako nakapunta :(
Tell the students to join the group too.
