This Sunday the 16th, we're holding a planning CoffeeTalk to determine the next course of action for the Dojo 2.0, so come join us and contribute your thoughts, ideas, and promises of help. The meeting starts at 7pm UTC (11am PST). Be in the drupal-dojo IRC room early if you need help joining.

My apologies for being an absentee... things have been unexpectedly more busy for longer than I thought when I originally posted that Dojo 2.0 stuff. I'd love to talk more about it though so we can have a good Plan of Action for the New Year.

I've been compiling Dojo2.0 related plans and conversations and have been doing as much planning and plotting as I can. While we may have not been ready for projects when we came out of the gate, I think the community would welcome/needs our contributions.
Funding is another issue that needs to be openly discussed and worked out for there to be real progress (IMHO). It's going to take a lot of time to bring the dojo up to it's potential. That doesn't jive well with the fact that we've lost most of the original/active contributors to extremely busy/shorthanded consulting firms. The tremendous energy and success of the GHOP should be a signal that this type of learning works. Almost a year old and with over 1000 members, I'm thinking we can step it up and create more value. Bring some funding into the mix and maybe we can help save the world.
