Things are really getting exciting in these final two weeks! We've scheduled an impromptu meetup this Thursday (July 8) at the Caroline Collective to discuss the FBWC event and try to rally the troops. This will be an informal get together to discuss any outstanding issues with the site. We also need to get a final headcount / list of names for the t-shirts.
We're getting close enough to the event that we've got to start making assignments for parts of the site. Tomorrow morning, we'll be contacting people directly via email to get commitments. It would be great if we could get groups of people together such that experienced Drupalers could pass on some skills to the new folks. If you can make it on Thursday, I'll be on hand to help out with architectural planning and Drupal in general.
The T-shirts will be ordered tomorrow, we plan on using names as they appear in basecamp for the back of the shirts. If you'd like your name to appear differently, send me an email and we'll get it straightened out. Please also drop me a note if you wear anything but a large T-shirt so that we can order accordingly.

Looks like I won't be able to make it tonight after all. I will take on a section of the site however, and welcome everyone to go put your name on something in Basecamp with me. If I grab something someone else wants to work on, perhaps we can work together.
SADUG will be joining us via skype
Hi all, just to update you on the latest. We'll be attempting a connection with SADUG to get us all on the same page. I'd really like to get a discussion going on various aspects of the site and how we can best work together the day of the event. I'd also like to talk to people about their strengths and how they feel they can best contribute. I'll put together a requirements doc based on our discussions with FBWC and this meetup and post it over the weekend.

Very productive meetup
We had a very productive meeting last night and I wanted to thank those who attended for coming out. With launch day rapidly approaching it was nice to get together and make sure we were all on the same page. We went over the various aspects of the site, discussed implementation strategies and just generally talked Drupal.
If you haven't already, check out the task list on basecamp and post a message letting us know you're there and committed. I think that there is value in repeating some of the conclusions that are drawn in basecamp in the main thread on the HDUG grouple landing page, so I'll post there what I can.

I realize now that the title isn't necessarily as clear as it should be. We've got space at the vineyard this Thursday for our last get-together before game day. If you haven't already, sign up for that event so I can get back to Kelly as soon as possible if we're likely to have a large group. We'll meet at 7pm, but earlier would be fine, since it's right around the corner for us here.
