February Meeting - User-centric Site Structure
public
group: Twin Cities
gormsby - Tue, 2008-01-29 03:37
Start:
2008-02-27 19:00 US/Central - 2008-02-27 21:00 US/CentralFebruary’s presentation was a bit “meta” for a Drupal group, focusing on basic user-centered site structure -- An approach that works similarly regardless of your choice of CMS (or lack thereof). I focused on my use of card-sorting exercises to develop the hierarchy of information used at Friends of the Mississippi River's web site, http://www.fmr.org, in our 2007 Drupal-based redesign. The notes and example documents that I used in my presentation are attached below.
More good stuff can be found at Information and Design.
