Tampa Drupal Meeting
Now that Drupal 6 has been released, I thought I would suggest another local Tampa Drupal Meeting for Saturday, 1 March, from 3-5 p.m. at the Panera Bread in New Tampa. This location has easy access from the I-4, I-75, and the I-275.
I thought we could discuss any issues or problems we're having with Drupal 6, and/or our other Drupal projects. If you're having trouble with anything, post it here and we can all discuss it when we meet.
Everyone in the All Florida Drupal Group is invited, but I know it's a long drive for some. I'd really like to at least get out the local Drupalers in the Tampa Bay area.
The Panera Bread in New Tampa is on Bruce B. Downs Blvd, 2 lights North/East of the I-75. If you're coming on the I-75, take exit 270 onto Bruce B. Downs, and drive about 1 mile North/East, at the second stoplight turn left and make an immediate right into the parking lot. At the far side (in front of Circuit City) is Panera Bread. There is a Bennigan's next door if anyone wants to continue the conversation and change the coffee for beer.

Future of Web Apps
FYI the Future of Web Apps conference is going on in Miami the same weekend - BarCamp Miami is Thursday, then the conference and workshops happen Friday through Sunday at the Carnival Arts Center in Miami.

I'm sorry I won't make the meeting
Hello, I was looking forward to today's meeting, but I'm going to have to miss it. I was working in Tampa this week, but had to return because a toilet valve in my shop broke causing a flood and I've got a plumber coming in this morning to fix it.
I'll look forward to the next one.
Also, there has been a lot of chat about a Drupal seminar somewhere in Florida. Some of the Miami folks are looking to put something together and someone mentioned that maybe we have something near West Palm because it would be a more central location. If it is convenient for others, I will offer my shop as a seminar location. I am in Delray Beach just 1/2 hour south of West Palm and about 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours north of Miami.
My large treatment room can easily hold 15-20 people with tables or more if we remove tables and just have folding chairs. It wouldn't cost anything for the space and I'll offer to host and bring in food. Let me know if this would interest anyone. Have a great meeting! Kim

Tampa Drupal Meeting
The Tampa Drupal Meeting was a success!
Our number of attendees is growing, with four Drupalers making it to the meeting: JoeMoraca, Faunapolis, Kuprishuz(?), and Jackezel.
Most of our discussions centered around introductions, Drupal 6.0, CCK/Views, geo-mapping modules, business applications, directories, viewing each others projects, etc.
We all came to the conclusion that the Florida Drupal group should have another meetup, and we are working to set one up for April. More details on that meetup to follow.
