Set URL of subpage as main URL

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I have a five page site that I'm building. One login, one webform survey and three subpages based on answers to the questions.

The survey URL is www.site.com/content/survey-content. I've set the default front page in Site Info as this page. The client would like the URL of that page to read as just the url www.site.com without the subpage references upon login (it shows as the true URL on login). Pathauto doesn't seem to want to let me do so. After searching around, I'm out of ideas. Any thoughts?

Global Redirect

You want the Global Redirect module.

It's actually one of those modules that's really useful for a default install profile, so that if someone does try to access something like node/123, it redirects them to the correct path.

Perfect. Thanks.

I have not used that module yet but was planning to give it a whirl. I have read that it helps improve SEO performance as well. Looking forward to trying it out.

This module for the most part, solves the irritating "canonical url" issue forever more. It is essential for SEO.
