After promising this for a long time I have finally got three new instances of Drupal/og2list ready for public consumption.
http://og2list.postcarbon.org is the Post Carbon version demo site. There are a couple of demo og2list groups there, and I made some posts showing off some of the cooler functionality of the PCI private version.
http://og2list-b4.postcarbon.org will always run the current CVS head version.
http://og2list-after.postcarbon.org is CVS HEAD plus whtaever patch(es) are being currently tested.
In furtherance of the quest to get to a 5.x-1.0 release, I'd like to start by having people help test the following patch:
Please see the issue itself for further testing instructions.
Once we can agree that fix is working, it can be marked Tested and Reviewed by the Community
Instructions on testing both are attached to the individual issues, please see them to help further.
And please take a look at the og2list.postcarbon.org private version demo... this is the taste of features to come if we can get started with the -1.0 release.
After you test as outlined in each patch, please comment on the issue with your results. As we are in agreement that the problem exists on og2list-b4.postcarbon.org and is fixed on og2list-after.postcarbon.org, then let's mark each one Reviewed and Tested by the Community. I will apply each to og2list-b4.postcarbon.org and we can move on to the next.
The next one after this first is http://drupal.org/node/165299. However that one cannot be tested without the fix to http://drupal.org/node/161393... as you can't properly set your notification settings to even get og2list notifications.
So, please, visit http://og2list.postcarbon.org and see some of the cool new features of the future. Then visit
http://drupal.org/node/161393 and follow the instructions there to test the patch on og2list-b4.postcarbon.org vs og2list-after.postcarbon.org.
