Join us Wednesday October 27th at 7PM for this month's TC Drupal Users Group meeting. Our good friend Chad Fennell (unexpand), web developer at the University of Minnesota Digital Library Development Lab, will show us Selenium. Selenium is a web application testing suite. On the Drupal side of things, the selenium module boasts the ability to integrate with Selenium making "it possible to test every aspect of a Drupal website." Chad will shed light on all of this by sharing his experience with both Selenium and Drupal.
As always there will also be time for socializing, networking, pizza eating and favorite beverage quaffing (feel free to bring some to share).
Location:
Advantage Labs Offices in the IATP Building
2104 Stevens Avenue South
Minneapolis, MN 55404
7-9PM
Parking available on the street. Come around back to the ramp door to be let in or buzz us from the Stevens Ave entrance.

TC Users Group Meeting open to all?
Hello,
I was just curious if TC Drupal Group meetings are open to any interested in attending? Myself, and a co-worker would like to check it out if we could.
Thanks,
Ryan
Absolutely!
Yes, yes, and yes. We generally like to think we are a friendly and inclusive bunch.
Definitely!
It's not like we make you apply for membership and give you an entrance exam. ;)
Question from Meet Up mirror group
Hi All,
Someone is wondering what the pizza will be and if they can bring their laptop. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
-jenel
Laptops are welcome and we
Laptops are welcome and we usually order a variety of pizza from Toppers, with a vegetarian option or two and a couple of others and chicken wings. We're certainly open to suggestions if someone has some though!

Awesome! Thanks for the speedy response. -jenel
Thank you Advantage Labs!
I did not want to reply before but I will now -- the pizzas are provided by Advantage Labs at no cost (at this time) to the attendees -- as well as the meeting place, internet access and projector. While I appreciate Advantage Labs being open to suggestions for food -- I believe that it should not be our main reason for being there & I realize that social events usually include food (please note: food is not served until the meeting has appropriately ended, i.e., current meeting topic complete and next meeting's topic decided - although we have broken that rule a few times).
That said: I really appreciate the fact that Advantage Labs provides all of the above -- AND that this group has been a great source of a resource for me -- I have learned soooo much from ALL of you. The more that attend and are willing to share - the more we all learn from each other!
see all of you tomorrow evening!

Advantage Labs generous offerings
Hi Mary Ann,
I'm sure the person only asked about food because they have dietary restrictions / preferences and need to know if they should eat beforehand. I sure they are very appreciative of the offer of food, but just need a bit more info.
Regards,
jenel

Topics for the meeting
Hi Barry,
I have a few ideas for topics for the meeting.
I am pretty sure you will touch upon drupal 7, if not, that could be a interesting topic too.
Thanks, Barbi. While this
Thanks, Barbi. While this month's meeting topic has already been set, at every meeting we do ask for suggestions for future meeting topics. We also look for volunteers to host or present on that topic. If you will be here, feel free to offer your suggestions. If you are unable to make it, I'll try to remember to bring these up tonight or feel free to start a new "Discussion" on this list (click on Create Discussion in the top right block menu) and make your suggestions there.
In my opinion, numbers 1 and 3 could fit into the user group meeting format as presentation/discussion topics. Number 2, using CCK and Views, is a massive topic that would be too broad to cover in an hour to 90 minute meeting. A more specific sub-topic would be more feasible.
