Creating a new installation profile from the DrupalCampLA conference website
The team at This By Them worked with LA Drupal organizers to design and develop a tremendously useful conference website, and released it under the GPL (see case study). With the advent of modules such as Patterns and Features, we are now able to turn this site into customizable/configurable installation profile.

Description/Requirements
A calendar for events allowing folks to see what is coming up and what common slots are available for teachers. A simple calendar page and block should be sufficient.

Solution for media upload and distribution
Objective
Looking to identify the best web based solution (Drupal or third party) that would allow a content creator to upload and distribute media (video, audio, photos, ...for starters) to external sites and services.
Features
These would vary depending on the specific needs. Could be a combo of Drupal modules, third-party solutions or both.

Open learning and collaboration portal
The following project initiative seeks to follow through with the Drupal Dojo 2.0 vision by building off complimentary sites and collaborating with existing teams. A collaboration with the Open Media Project will provide a unique opportunity to craft a custom program to provide development help, training, and documentation and marketing on a regional level.
