Usability: Add ability to sort Groups Directory by number of subscribers
I would like to be able to sort the Groups Directory by number of subscribers, so that I can easily view a list of the most active/popular groups. Can anyone to make this happen?
Thanks,

We have a wide variety of people in our group, a module maintainer, themers, graphical designers, network engineers, PHP programmers, and people using only core + contrib modules to deliver very nice sites.
Some groups confusion
I'm on chapter 12 of Bill's book, and am not seeing things in the screenshots:
I see no Groups category when I'm logged in as admin. I have enabled the OG and OG Vocab modules. I have created the Class content type and made a test blog post, which I posted to that group. The post shows up, but when I go to the home page, I can't see a link to Groups.
Also, when I created the class, I got a message that said: The View og_ghp_ron was not found. Check your variables table or settings.php.
Again, I'm sure it's something simple, but I've gone over the instructions several times.
How to add a "more" link to the block "Group members"
Hi,
I am trying to figure out how to add a "more" link to the block "Group members" provided by OG.
The "more" link should link to /og/users/groupid/faces as you did for Drupal Dojo.
Thanks in advance,
Greg

#drupal-groups Has been launched on IRC
To help group organizers meet eachother and share their knowledge, tips & ticks for organizing and motivating drupal groups i've launched a new drupal irc channel #drupal-groups.
I encourage everyone to join this channel to discuss how to improve user participation in drupal groups and other helpful information.
I strongly encourage group members to join in on the discussion because group organizers are doing this for YOU. Having your feedback on various issues will help us greatly improve different aspects of the group that matter to you most.

Groups vs. Multiple Drupal installations
Hello there!
If you want to give a user total control over a site (his/her site, area, or whatever you want to call it), what should be better? Creating a group for each user, as in drupal Groups, or creating a multisite installation?
When I say "total control" I mean everything: Blogs, polls, newsletters, have a fan´s group (not buudies, I mean actual users that are created just to enter his/her personal site).
Would multiple sites installations become a huge monster, that no server could manage?
What are your thoughts?

Individual User/Group Stores Standalone Module/plugin for Ubercart or E-Commerce
I am suggesting for a module which allows for individuals/group admin with certain roles to create/run a store and accept payments through user/group specific payment gateways.
Example of uses:
- An NGO might start a group on a social site, and want to sell merchandise to raise funds, they simply create a group store.
- a Musician might want to sell his mp3 files on the social site. He can simply purchase a role, for a one-off charge and setup an online store for his music, pictures or event tickets.
Sharing information & RSS
I think a good way to share information/links may be to use a particular tag in delicious, technorati, tags on this site, etc. So basically maybe just establish a convention that everyone tags their stuff to share.
Maybe something like:
