Currently when someone puts a invalid username or passward in the the login form it only returns a red box around the username and password box. I am designing a site for a church that wants to display a message about the error. Is there a way someone can direct me how to do this?
I'm trying to build a views slideshow (frontpage slider) that includes both images and youtube videos. I got it working, but when I click on the Youtube video to play it, the video starts playing then the slider moves to the next slide based on the amount of time set in the views slideshow settings (in this case 3 seconds). It doesn't allow the video to play in its entirety. I set the views slideshow to "pause on click" thinking that the "click" to play the Youtube video would pause the slideshow... no deal.Read more

How have you solved the issue of Volunteer Scheduling in churches such that a volunteer is not scheduled into more than one spot at the same time? Whatever you use, does it have notification capability so that the a reminder can be sent out to the volunteer?
I have our church website up and running. It is running in a shared hosting environment. The hosting provider has indicated that the site is using a large amount of memory and I need to optimize the site. I have not done that before and am wondering if anybody knows of a how-to-optimize-your-drupal-site link that can get me jump started.
I am trying to build a church calendar. I have watched a number of Podcasts on this topic and it doesn't seem that difficult but I am missing something. First of all, I am running on Drupal 6.15 and I am using cck 6.x-2.6, views 6.x-2.8, date 6.x-2.7, and Calendar 6.x-2.4.
Please take a look at www.myvcc.com/calendar and then let me ask the following questions:
1. Why isn't the name of the month displaying?
2. Why is there a narow column to the far left on the calendar with the numbers 49 - 53?
Anyone done any Drupal/Church Windows integration? Is it even possible?
I am looking for some input/advice on how to incorporate Donations to a church website. I have about a year of Drupal experience and have managed to put together our church website. What I need to do now is to add the ability for people to make online donations. I have had several people ask for that. In the very near future I also need to add an online store and will need to be able to take payments from there as well.
So my question is have you done this type of thing with Drupal and can you point in my direction that will do I need to do and yet is not too daunting.Read more
I'm looking for the best way to do a service countdown timer that is automated, that doesn't need to be reset for each service. In the end it would look something like the countdown timer found here - http://northchurch.tv/. In summary I'd like it to countdown to the service, then display a message while the service is live (such as "service is live watch now") and then after the service is over I want it to automatically begin counting down to the next service. Below is what I've found out so far. I'd like to see if anyone has any incite.Read more
I already have my sermons on my Drupal site and have, to this point, preached mainly on the lectionary.
I'd like to create a simple way to display sermon series together, with a graphic and description at the top of the page, then the sermons in order below it. Some easy way to listen, like a playlist, would be nice, but not necessary.Read more
