AIR

We're considering building an AIR app that (at least) uses Drupal as the back-end data source. We were wondering whether we'd also be able to display a Drupal View from within the AIR app (using Services) or not? Same question applies for any custom modules we may build in Drupal.

The reason we are asking, is because we have an existing D6 site with Views and custom reporting modules, and we'd like to leverage those in an AIR app.

we're in the process of releasing the amfserver, a new Drupal 7 services module that integrates with actionscript based clients.
This means it's usable for flex, flash and air applications.
It's amf handling capabilities rely on the zend amf engine from the zend framework.

yesterday I spoke on the dutch adobe usergroup XL event, an annual event in the netherlands for the adobe platform, on using drupal as a content management system for your flash, flex and air applications with the help of our opensource package. (Apologies for cross posting - I've put this at http://drupal.org/node/222404 before I realised this might be a better place for it.)

I'm looking for a way to upload fiiles to a drupal site via a web service (from a AIR/ flex application actually) and I after some digging, I don't see anything on the forums or in the contributed modules that addresses this, so I though I'd post before we go ahead and develop a module to do this.

I have spent the last few months learning as much as I can about AIR / Flex / AS3 and I would like a crack at developing something useful for drupal. Any ideas are definatly welcome, I was thinking mainly of some administration tools which could just speed up the workflow but I would love suggestions.
