September Meetup at Sony BMG
A hint of fall is in the air and it's about time that we Drupalistas got together. The crew at Sony has graciously offered up a conference room for us. They've also just launched the new MusicBox website, so there should be a bit to talk about there. Of course, Drupal 6 Beta 1 has just made its debut. Hopefully, some of the hackers out there can give us the skinny on it.
The format of this meet-up will be totally self directed. We'll decide on what to talk about at the beginning and then break off into groups based on mutual interests. At the very least, we should probably break into a programming group for those interested in coding modules and core, and a design/business group for people interested in making Drupal pretty and doing non-programming stuff with the Drupal framework.
The Meetup will take place Tuesday, September 25th at 6:30 PM in the 9th Fl. conference room at 555 Madison Ave. We will break around 8:30 PM and head over to Cassidy's, a local restaurant/bar that has decent food and drinks.
