PHP workshop
I'm doing some freelance work for a company that may attend this workshop if they can find enough people to help split the cost.
If you'd be interested in attending, please contact me, and I will provide you with contact information -- who to talk to, how to get in touch with her, etc.
Assistance, please?
I am currently taking three graduate courses online; I'm working towards an M.A. in strategic communication (with a focus on digital media).
For one of my courses, I need 12 people to take an online survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5SWDDDV
Of those 12, three agree to be interviewed. Of those three interviews, one is videotaped. (I don't have software to tape an online interview, so the interview will have to be in-person at my house.) Interviews will last 20-30 minutes.

Any plans for a July meeting? I need about a week's notice so I can put it on my work calendar.
I work until 6 p.m., so if the meeting starts at 6:30, I have to get off work early to make it to the meeting on time -- and if I want time off from work, I have to put the "time off" announcement on my work calendar well in advance.

Acquia Dev Desktop
I have the Acquia DAMP stack running on a local machine (MAC) for Dev, and for Drupal Sites running well. But if I need to run a non-drupal site I am having some issues. Has anyone ever used the DAMP stack for running a website that wasn't Drupal?

I'm thinking March 21 unless anyone has any serious problems with that date. Again, since it seems it worked pretty well and is relatively central, Kernersville Library seems like the right place again, I'll call them first thing next week if no one has any objections or other recommendations.

triadDUG January 2012 Meeting
As discussed in the December thread, we're looking at two options for location and date for the January meeting. At the moment, I'm leaning towards January 18th at the Walkertown library (to give a different location a try and see if it's a bit nicer than Kernersville's). I would like to set it up by Tuesday, so please let me know if that date JAN 18, and location WALKERTOWN PUBLIC LIBRARY are fine.
Can Drupal do what this CMS does
I'm looking at building sites with Drupal or maybe another CMS that is friendly to membership and e-commerce
I found this free open source software. Can Drupal do what this CMS does? Better, harder, how would I do it? Advantages / Disadvantages?

http://www.seotoaster.com/internet-marketing-services.html
I don't know what costs the extra services might be or if they can be rolled into Drupal in an equivalent way.
Comments?
