Our new and better meetup is back again! every Thursday of the beginning of each month, we gather, chat, meet new people, attend sessions and having fun in our geeky environment where we can say "$i = 15" and no body will ask "what do you mean?!!", funny ha? but we are born as geeks, and these kind of meetings will make us better, and more efficient.
I want to thank SYEA group for their kind host of our second meetup, also Hala & Zaher for following this issue (and many others!), also want to thank every one who is interested & was asking when is the next meetup.
I want to say that our door is always open for geeks & programmers (other kinds of people, believe me you won't be interested and you'll even sleep during the sessions). Do you have a solid knowledge of PHP, .NET, Scala, ruby, iphone, android, Drupal, Yii [add as related terms as you want here]? so why not attending our meetups, and also submitting a proposal to be a speaker too (this feature is not ready yet, will be very soon!).
The website is now live (still in early alpha), powered by Drupal & COD project. You can keep watching it because many improvments will happend in the next few days (www.DamascusMeetup.com).
