Site Building with Drupal
In two days, participants will be brought up to speed on Drupal and will be ready to tackle their own project. Learn how to manage media, build calendars and complex, dynamic queries of content by selecting and configuring the most popular modules.
This course is suitable both for users who are new to Drupal and those who want to broaden their Drupal skills. Participants will also review Drupal's block system and using taxonomy to categorize their content.
The ideal accompaniment is to follow this with a one day introduction to using Panels.

Prerequisites:
Experience with web development. Drupal in a Day, or equivalent experience with Drupal.
By the end of the training you will be able to:
* Know how to use the block system and taxonomy to organize content.
* Be able to create custom pages, blocks, and RSS feeds on your site.
* Have created a photo gallery, an automated Workflow and Calendaring system
* Know how to make custom content types (CCK) and use Views, blocks and taxonomy

Participants will receive printed manual that outlines step-by-step activities.
Depending on venue, participants will either be provided with a sandbox environment in a computer lab, or they will use their own computers.
