Nedjo has released a very basic Payment_api module which provides an administrative front end to the taking of payments and organising them.
Support for payment gateways is currently pretty limited, with no major gateway support provided (PayPal , Google Checkout, etc.)
Nedjo is currently looking for somebody to look after the project and flesh out the API. I'm personally interested in writing support for a couple of gateways. But the API needs some documentation and polishing up.
Anybody interested in taking on the role?
