I've been studying a bit about the concepts of features driven development and installation profiles. I though Dmitri's Drupalchi sessions was very informative.
One thing he glossed over though, was where should your features go to live for an installation profile.
Should I add them to my sandbox, that way they are hosted at least on drupal.org, or set up my own features server?
The drawback that I have seen with hosting the feature yourself, is that often a server moves or address changes and the feature can no longer be located.
I actually had to hunt for a while to get a working updated featureserver installation profile.
What do you think?
