Overview:

Many companies today are embracing Open Source Software throughout the enterprise — on the desktop, at the edge of the network, and even for core infrastructure applications. Are these companies rushing headlong to disaster, or are they riding a wave to less expensive, high quality, secure applications? This session will explore the value of Open Source Software: What is it? How is it licensed? How is it supported? Is it safe? How do people make money from it? Should I use it in my environment? What should I expect from it?
