User group meeting

This is our 3rd Thursday for the month of September and we are looking forward to all of you joining us.

As always, it is at Francis Tuttle ( A big thanks and shout-out to FT)

We have a presentation planned. Michael Cole (http://drupal.org/user/8121) will be speaking on the various uses of Drupal Quickstart (http://drupal.org/project/quickstart). As the author of this environment, Michael has a great deal of experience with it an many thoughts as to the various uses you can put it to.

I have been using it for the last 10 weeks and it truly cuts your time and overhead it creating sandboxes for various testing. The debugger built into the system is truly a timesaver. If this were the ONLY feature it would be worth it. But there is so much more.

You will gain critical knowledge and significant time gains by coming to this presentation.

Note: Michael will be walking us through some of the different ways to use quickstart, so you may want to preload your laptop with Virtualbox (http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads) before the DUG begins. That way you can follow along.

See ya there!
