Last Wednesday I gave a presentation at OxDUG on how we did a recent site build of Love Food Hate Waste (LFHW) and its subsidiary sites.
Please find the slides attached. I hope they're of some use!
LFHW was build by Torchbox, my employers. The overview of the site was as follows:
- Replaced an existing, several-years-old Rails site
- Built on Drupal 6 owing to timescales and requirement of code reuse
- Extensive use of features, Less CSS
- Project management using Feature-Driven Development and Kanban: this was an important aspect of project delivery
If anyone wants to find out more, the LFHW project manager Edward Kay is proposing a talk on project management in Drupal, at the Oxford DrupalCamp in June.
