This month we're headed to Lawrence Kansas. The plan is to spend the first hour climbing the Drupal Contribution Ladder, then spending the remaining time on Q&A, open discussion, etc.
We'll meet in the Gallery room at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont Street, Lawrence. The room is on your left as you come in from Vermont Street.
Bring your laptop.
This is a learn sprint, part of a community-wide effort to get 1% of active users on drupal.org contributing to Drupal core by 2014.
Please note that this is NOT about learning Drupal, but rather about contributing to Drupal core. Please also note that everyone, even the rankest noobs, can contribute.
If you are an experienced contributor, we need you. If you are a total novice, we need you.
We'll do the learn sprint this time, which takes about an hour, and at subsequent meeting we'll do issue sprints.
Things to do ahead of time:
- Go to Learn Drupal and create a user account for yourself.
- Review the contribution ladder and identify where you are on the ladder.
3. Read as much as you can on Learn Drupal and on the g.d.o. Learn group.
