Thank you voting committee for the privilege of having the first Bio-computing, Bio-Informatics, Biology on Groups Drupal

Our mandate
*how Drupal can be used to scientists run their laboratories, to build software for their unique applications dealing with Biological, Genetics and Computational properties
*help people connect with scientists for better support for the large amounts of genetic data.

What if all the tools that I am listing below had the chance to rebuild their web architecture incorporating what we've learned to love about Drupal - Templating, Nodes, CCK, Views, and the 100+ modules that make this such an excellent platform, would they? could they? In our group, we hope to discuss some of the visual challenges along with architecture that would support BioInformatics activities performed over sometimes 10^15 bytes of data.
