Hi all,
Raz and I have just had a quick get together to attempt to organise a smaller hackday/unconference. We would like to get together to have a 'build a module' gathering to share skills, experience and ideas between the skill levels in the group. Ideally we would like to have somebody to help guide the day (I have emailed someone to ask if they would be able to help with this) and are suggesting Saturday 18th August at the OeRC (near Drupalcon I know!).
Ideally we were thinking of having a small charge to help contribute towards costs, £5 or less, and I think there would be a limit to the number of people that the room with the VMs can hold (although Raz, please let me know if I have misunderstood this but I think it is around 20 or so).
We did moot the idea of running more of these with different focuses (RDF was one, possible sprint day was another) on a small, ad-hoc basis and posting the results.
Anyhow, the idea is out there. Any thoughts, ideas, and comments? Possibly this is something that we can discuss either here or at the next OxDUG, or even both.
