This months Louisiana Drupal User Group meetup will be held Thursday, August 2nd at the 3Coasts office, inside the Nelson Building, on Prytania St. in New Orleans.

Since we have some quiet space this meetup, we decided to do some presentations. There will be 2 presentations, one for beginners learning Drupal, and one for advanced users. Check out the topics below.
Beginners Presentation: Jeff Diecks will provide an introduction to Drupal and answer Getting Started questions.
Advanced Presentation: Brian Berlin will present on using GIT. He will show everyone how to install, configure and setup a local GIT repository. If time permits, we'll go to drupal.org and find something in the issue queue to fix.
