I'm looking for opportunities to run a Drupal Ladder sprint at a DrupalCamp in the UK in the next few months.
Are you planning an event? Can you accommodate a room full of sprinters?
What is Drupal Ladder?
The recent presentation about Drupal Ladder at DrupalCon Munich explains the challenge: 1% of Drupal active users contributing to core by 2014.

To meet this challenge we can run sprints at Drupal meet-ups and camps. Camps offer a chance to get a wider group of people.
Proposal
Logistics:
- Flat room with data projector, wifi and a whiteboard.
- Starting at 11, ending around 4pm, and of course people can continue as they like!
- Ideally the day before the event, such as the Friday.
- Numbers? We can start gathering a list as soon as we announce the dates.
I propose to form a volunteer team to run two sprints in one day.
- Part 1) A learning sprint- This gets people set up with Drupal 8 installed on their machines with Git. They learn how to test patches on Drupal 8, and use the issue queue, etc. (This takes about 2 hours)
- Part 2) An issue sprint- This is organized ahead of time to get new contributors involved to test, fix and contribute to a particular initiative. (Takes about 2-3 hours)
