How to view My Unread, but only for specific groups

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.
You are viewing a wiki page. You are welcome to join the group and then edit it. Be bold!

The My Unread page/feed are cool, but I might be subscribed to a number of groups and only want to see updates for specific ones. Is this possible?
Sorry if this is already posted somewhere.

EDIT by Walt Esquivel:
Why did you create a wiki page for your issue? In the future, please create a "story". To answer your question, I don't believe there is any way around seeing updates to a group if you're subscribed to it. In part, that's the purpose of a group - to see the updates. If you don't want to see all the updates, UNsubscribe and then you can always go back and visit the group(s) when/if you want to see the updates. The alternative would be to open an issue on drupal.org and post a feature request with what it is you want to see if anyone is willing to do it. Short of that, you might be able to pay someone to develop the functionality you seek. Good luck!

Hi Walt and thanks for the answer. I post an issue in the event that anyone else is interested in this functionality or would somehow benefit from it. I chose to use the wiki because I think it leads to cleaner articles. This takes less space and I can edit it again afterwards with the resolution if there is one, instead of other people having to scroll through endless comments to get to the answer. Hope that makes sense and I didn't break any rules. - Nikle 2007-01-31 02:19 CET

EDIT by Walt:
Sounds good. Sometimes, folks use a wiki page by accident but you have a good explanation as to why you chose it. Regards, Walt
