The perfect continuation of Level up your Themer: Baby Bosses, in Level up your Themer: Bigger Bosses, Chapter Three dives into a whole host of techniques to tackle any theming challenge. This course is also ideally suited to folks who have already taken any of our Theme Development workshops in the past.
We start the day focusing on changing the output of our theme through views templates, form_alter functions and eventually simple jQuery. We spend a portion of the middle of the day discussing panels and blocks, creating panel layouts from scratch, and integrating views with panels. we will wrap up the day with special topics, including responsive layouts and other techniques for mobile development. You will leave the workshop with a large arsenal of potent tools that any veteran theme developer has at their disposal and the confidence to deploy them.
