The monthly Drupal core bug fix release window is scheduled for this Wednesday; however, since the last Drupal 7 release was only a month ago and there haven't been that many patches either committed or ready to be committed in the interim, there will be no release this week.
In general, back-to-back bug fix releases (in consecutive months) are rare now that Drupal 7 has been around for a while; we've been aiming for more like once every three months, or occasionally every two months.
Upcoming release windows include:
- Wednesday, December 19 (security release window)
- Wednesday, January 2 (bug fix release window)
