Hi all! I am at DrupalCon now, and I just found out there is a Bitcoin BoF taking place. I'm sorry I won't be able to join, but there is another session that I was eager to attend at the same time.

I wanted to ping you guys to let you know about a module I created recently which may be very useful to the Bitcoin community. It is called Fraction (http://drupal.org/project/fraction), and it is a Field API that allows for a very fine-precision storage of decimal values (ie: 0.00000001 aka a satoshi).

I think Fraction would be helpful to Bitcoin-related modules that need a way to store very high-precision decimal numbers.

I am currently involved with discussion in the Commerce issue queue about using a Fraction approach for price storage in Commerce ([#1125706]).

I would be happy to meet up sometime while we're in Portland to demonstrate how it works. Feel free to message me.
