Drupal has a representative in the Republic of Moldova.
On May 22, 2013 Drupal Moldova Association announced its official release as a legal entity in the Republic of Moldova.
Drupal Moldova is a Non-Profit Organization whose main purpose is to promote Drupal Content Management System and Open Source (both locally and internationally), organize Drupal related events, support the local Drupal Community, seek partnerships with companies, public institutions, and other NGOs.
Open Source, Drupal in particular, gains more popularity each year among companies and public institutions from the Republic of Moldova and Eastern Europe. Together with the growth of demand for Drupal experts, the need for an organization that would promote Drupal to young students and closed-source developers also grew in proportions. Drupal Moldova Association takes the responsibility upon itself to be that organization.
Drupal Moldova Association will be focusing on 3 main areas: Students, Drupallers (Drupal Developers) and Businesses. There is a lot to do in each of these areas and the association promises to do its best to achieve its goals.

Drupal Moldova Association will be accepting members starting with May 30th 2013 at the official Launch Event. Drupal Moldova also publicly announces that any contribution that would help to its healthy activity is welcomed.

Drupal are reprezentant oficial in Moldova
Pe 22 Mai 2013 Asociaţia “Drupal Moldova” a anunţat înregistrarea sa oficială ca organizaţie non-profit cu activitatea în Republica Moldova.
Organizaţia Drupal Moldova are drept scopuri principale: promovarea sistemul de management al conținutului Drupal şi sistemele de tip open source (atît local cât şi internaţional), organizarea evenimentelor educaţionale, suportul comunităţii locale Drupal, căutarea parteneriatelor cu agenţi economici, instituţii publice şi a organizaţiilor non-guvernamentale din ţară şi din afara ei.
Sistemele open source, Drupal în special, câştigă tot mai multă încredere şi popularitate printre companiile şi instituţiile publice din Republica Moldova şi Europa de Est. Împreună cu creşterea necesităţii în experţi calificaţi în Drupal apare şi necesitatea în fondarea unei organizaţii care să promoveze Drupal in rîndurile tinerilor studenţi şi a programiştilor în sisteme şi limbaje de programare cu sursă închisă. Asociaţia Drupal Moldova îşi asuma responsabilitatea să fie acea organizaţie.
Asociaţia Drupal Moldova îşi va concentra atenţia asupra urmatoarelor domenii: studenţi, dezvoltatori Drupal şi agenţi economici. În fiecare din aceste trei domenii sunt multe de făcut pentru a ridica nivelul cunoştinţelor în domeniile IT şi open source la următorul nivel. Drupal Moldova promite să întreprindă acţiunile necesare pentru a facilita obţinera acestui scop.

У Друпал появился официальный представитель в Молдове
22 мая ассоциация “Drupal Moldova” объявила о своей официальной регистрации в виде Non-Profit организации, действующей на территории РМ.
Главными целями организации “Drupal Moldova” являются: продвижение системы управления контентом Drupal, а также продвижение систем типа OpenSource (на местном и международном уровнях), организация образовательных мероприятий, поддержка местного соощества Drupal, налаживание партнерства с экономическими агентами, общественными и неправительственными организациями как внутри страны так и за её пределами.
Системы OpenSource, особенно Drupal, завоёвывают всё большую популярность и доверие среди публичных организаций и компаний Республики Молдова и стран Восточной Европы. Одновременно с ростом потребности в квалифицированных специалистах сисетмы Drupal появляется и необходимость в создании организации, которая будет продвигать Drupal среди студентов и програмистов специализирующихся на системах и языках програмирования с закрытым кодом. Ассоциация “Drupal Moldova” возлагает на себя ответственность быть такой организацией.
Ассоциация “Drupal Moldova” сфокусирует свой внимание на следующих группах: студенты, разработчики Drupal и экономические агенты. Нам предстоит приложить много усилий, чтобы в каждой из этих трёх групп повысить уровень знаний в сфере IT и open source на следующую ступень. Ассоциация “Drupal Moldova” обещает предприянть все необходимые меры, чтобы добиться данной цели.
