Known Community Storyteller Projects

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.
You are viewing a wiki page. You are welcome to join the group and then edit it. Be bold!

Let's use this page to maintain a list of known storyteller projects. For each project, please include the following (if available):

  • Project name
  • Link to active wiki page or off-GDO collaboration space, if you choose to use one
  • Project description, goals, short history
  • Project leader name(s) and D.O profile(s) if known
  • Relevant links like URL and Twitter

If you are interested in using this space to collaborate on your storyteller project, feel free to create a dedicated wiki page or pages, just please be sure to include your project name in all wiki page titles so they are clear.

DrupalCon Stories

DrupalCon Stories is meant to help create a more complete view of DrupalCon and, more specifically, the Drupal community. Goals of DrupalCon Stories include:

  • Dilute the perception that Drupal is only for hardcore developers.
  • Make it easier for people new to--or evaluating--Drupal to see themselves reflected in the community.
  • Create a more personal, relatable element to conference coverage.
  • Give broader exposure to the myriad of content and events going on during the conference.
  • Provide an immersive, journalistic view into DrupalCon for those who do not attend, but may do so in the future--or are simply curious.

DrupalCon Stories was piloted at the 2013 Portland DrupalCon, and is intended to continue, with incremental growth and improvements from Con to Con. It is also tentatively planned to be packaged into a distro for use at the local level after a couple more iterations, when it is a more stable and feature-appropriate tool.
