Drupal is a powerful content management system, and the Web Experience Toolkit distribution is a version of Drupal that has been customized for organizations with strict accessibility and bilingual requirements. It's widely used by the Government of Canada.
In this training, you'll get an overview of the most important features of the Web Experience Toolkit distribution of Drupal. The training will include hands-on exercises to lead you through essential site administrative tasks. You'll also get an understanding of the more advanced features.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the components of the Drupal WET distribution
- Create, manage, and translate content
- Create and edit simple landing pages using Panels
- Create menus and set up the site's information architecture
- Understand the distribution's accessibility, responsive, and multilingual features
- Understand the difference between Drupal core and the Web Experience Toolkit distribution
