Drupal is known for being a great starting point for developers. Sometimes, designers are intimidated by Drupal's theme system. In this course, we'll step through the process of creating a Drupal website from a design perspective. You'll learn how to write CSS for Drupal and the fundamental theming techniques you'll need to make Drupal look the way you want.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the process of designing and wireframing for Drupal
- Create a Drupal theme based on an existing design
- Write effective CSS for Drupal
- Override templates and theme functions in Drupal
- Add jQuery to a Drupal theme
- Follow Drupal theming best practices
Requirements: Knowledge of HTML and CSS; experience using Drupal is an asset
