The White House, at long last, has a release date for the transparency directive that President Obama announced on his first day at work: Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 11:00 a.m.
The administration's top two tech chiefs, Vivek Kundra and Aneesh Chopra, on Tuesday will unveil official guidance that instructs agencies on how to make the federal government more open, how to bring citizens into the policy-making process and how to collaborate inside -- with government employees -- and outside -- with the public and industry.
