Join us for our next UMN Drupal User Group meeting, coming up next week!
Wednesday, April 23
Noon - 1:00pm
101 Walter Library
117 Pleasant St SE, Minneapolis MN 55455
Jim Hart from University Relations will talk about the Panopoly distribution of Drupal, which the U's platform is built upon. The presentation will cover the ways Panopoly differs from the standard Drupal approach of blocks and regions, provide an overview of Panels and Panelizer, the key modules used by Panopoly, demo features like In Place Editing, and touch on advanced topics like panel variants and selection rules.
You can read more background on Panopoly at the project page at Drupal.org:
https://drupal.org/project/panopoly
While the demo will use the University's Drupal system, the presentation is open to and relevant to anyone curious about Panopoly.
I will work on arranging a stream of the presentation via Google Hangout/YouTube, and will post the link on this list shortly before the presentation begins.
