On Wednesday 2 July Oxford Drupal Users Group will host a Drupal 8 special!
We're really pleased to be able to invite Pedro Cambra to this event. He's worked on a ton of D8 core issues in the "initiatives" streams. However, he's especially interested in outreach, and in stressing all of the many unsung ways - small but important - in which Drupal 8 will be new, fresh and exciting for users and developers alike. He'll be talking about these "undercover initiatives" and it should be a great talk.
Next up, OxDUG regular Tancredi d'Onofrio will be hosting a hands-on D8 workshop. Bring a laptop - realistically, one meeting the basic D8 requirements already - and Tanc will take you through building your first D8 module. Or follow the action in real time and pick up some tips for when you finally get a chance to get your hands dirty with D8 code!
