Ottawa DrupalYOW Meetup "Digital Transformation at Canadian Blood Services"
The very backbone of Drupal is of course, community. Here in Ottawa we have a thriving community of developers and DrupalYOW strives to to foster that sense of community Drupal was founded on.
OPIN is hosting the 9th DrupalYOW event on February 11th with support from the Ottawa Drupal Association and Acquia. Whether you’re Dries Buyteart himself or just a part-time dabbler in the Drupal world, all are welcome. We intend to have a beer, share some knowledge, make friends, and by the end of the event hopefully learn something new.
This Meetup we have Phil Loranger, Director of Digital Transformation with Canadian Blood Services. In this presentation, Phil shares his experience leading Canadian Blood Services through the digital transformation process. Topics will include developing mobile apps, replacing the enterprise CMS with Drupal, developing the new blood.ca website and the new donor portal.
