This month, we will focus on the default configuration and options included in the WYSIWYG editor on the University of Minnesota's Drupal platform. The default settings of the WYSIWYG editor have left many site builders wishing for changes and improvements, so after a brief overview of the current configuration by Jim Hart, we will dive in to discussing how we might configure a more useful WYSIWYG. Specific areas of discussion might include:
- Which style buttons are enabled or disabled?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of different image/media insertion tools?
- What helpful CSS classes might be added to the default stylesheets and enabled in the WYSYWIG editor to addressed styling needs within content?
