It appears that the name listed as group organizer of the Northern VA Users Group for groups.drupal.org, Mindflayer, is abandoned, with no activity showing for 7 years 40 weeks, and no response from an email I sent.
Drupal.org has a policy for putting in a new organizer, which requires initiating a discussion, thus this post.
If any of our active members would like to be a (co-)organizer, please post here in the next 2 weeks. As far as responsibilities go, it appears to be largely monitoring this group for spam ;-)
I'll volunteer if needed to be a (co-)organizer as I've been posting NoVA meetings here for over 3 years.
