The Drupal4Gov community has been holding half day drupal training
events for a few years now. This one will include a Drupal Ladder (self
paced learning experience with mentors and speaker for new, intermediate
and advanced), a code sprint, and multiple sessions on acquisition,
APIs, Drush and a host of other topics.

Everyone is welcome, but come early. We start at 1:15, but you have to
get through security and there is a 100% ID check, so bring a government
issued photo id. You will need a computer if participating in the
sprint or ladder but you do not need a computer to participate in the
sessions.
The acquisition portions are geared to non-profits and gov (local, state
and fed), with an eye toward how to understand purchasing open source
solutions.
