We will cover everything you need to know to get started with your own custom Drupal 8 theme. We will discuss best practices for:setting up a custom theme, organizing theme files, setting up Twig templates for pages, nodes, blocks and fields.
Chris Doherty
Chris’s mix of creative talent and technical understanding provides clients with high-quality screen-based experiences. His depth of experience and education brings together the disciplines of technology, writing, and design.
He spent the early years of his career in the New York office of Sapient Corp. designing web interfaces for clients such as Morgan Stanley, LEGO, and Motorola. In 2004 he founded a design firm, Citizen Studio Inc. with his wife, Linda. While looking for a reliable CMS, he stumbled upon Drupal and his love for Drupal theming began.
A New Yorker, born and raised, Chris holds a Bachelors Degree in English and fine arts from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. He completed his design education at Portfolio Center in Atlanta. A lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox, Chris finds life in the South far more hospitable than life as a Sox fan in New York.
