Anglular.js and headless Drupal
We have an exciting and cutting edge topic and demo. We will be showing a demo site that completely replaces the traditional Drupal theming layer with Angular.js. Drupal is used to serve up database data and provide a content management system interface to all of your data.
When would I use this? There are pro's and con's to using this type of implementation. Not all sites are good candidates for a headless Drupal site. However, this type of implementation is being used by many enterprise Drupal shops and having this skill in your toolbox is definitely a plus.
Demo. We'll demo a headless Drupal site with an Angular.js frontend, showing how we put it together along with the pro's and con's.
We'll also share a number of resources that you should have to get started.
Time and location. We'll be meeting at the fantastic 21c Library at 1175 Chapel Hills Drive. We are in conference room B6. We'll get started at 6:30 pm.
