I have finally finished the design document. After much discussion with various people I think I have come up with how I am going to change up the case tracker module and focus on making it easier for the end user to use and allow the some of the more advanced/custom stuff to be added by other modules (See the design document). I have been pretty busy and have been trying to keep up with the summer of code project as much as possible. I was kind of week behind because I moved and didn't get the internet until about a week after the SoC project started. Then the following week there was a death in my family and I was out of town for that. Then the week after that I had to go to my younger brothers high school graduation ceremony so once again I was out of town for that. When I was out of town though I have been reading the pro drupal development book again (2nd time) and feel like it is giving me a much better understanding the 2nd time through. I am about half way through the book. Last week I also spent a considerable amount of time going through the current case trackers code base (about 2,500+ lines of code total) to see how forms are generated, how the database is setup and what is stored where. So I think I have a pretty good idea of how to change things up and am going to start working away on the code. I also plan to spend more time each day due to the fact I feel like I have lost some time due some of the events that have occurred the past few weeks of my life.
