Our monthly meetup is officially scheduled for next week!
This month for our main talk we are excited to be taking a look at Drupal security with Warren Melnick and how to properly secure your Drupal environment. We will be covering:
- Initial setup including using apache and settings.php to move credentials out of the codebase
- User management with drush
- User generated content and splitting databases
- Roles
- Two factor authentication
- Secure password policies
- Deployment scripts
- Patching
In addition, for our module of the month segment, we will be taking a look at the Inline Entity Form module and how it helps simplify the product management workflow when building an e-commerce site with Drupal commerce.
