Hi all,
I think last week's meetup in New Orleans went really well; I hope you all agree.
I sent an email outlining next steps with the Drupalcampnola.com project. Find the notes from last week's meetup below. All of the formatting has been lost, such as the hyperlinks. Please contact me if you would like to participate and want to see the email with the links.
Jason.
January 7 Meetup Notes
1) Cloning Repository
We'll host the Git repository with Bitbucket, so we can manage the master branch, shared feature development and pull requests.
Create Bitbucket account if you do not have one. If you're not familiar with Bitbucket, refer to their getting started page. Using Bitbucket and participating with this project build will require Git, so ensure you have it installed. We will spend time next in the upcoming meetup getting familiar with Git.
I have sent invitations, granting access to the repository, to emails I have on record. If you did not receive an invitation, please contact me directly to gain access to the repository. Once you have access, clone the repo.
2) Get the Database
Throughout the project, I'll be grabbing the database and sharing it out using the BitTorrent Sync program. You can get started with downloading the program and getting the database here.
3) Setting up your local
Please refer to this Durpal.org page for support setting up your local. I will be using a Vagrant VM similar to this.
4) Our Next Meetup
Please come to the next meetup with your local environment setup with a cloned repository and the site working. If you encounter problems setting up your local, please post questions in the Louisiana Drupal User Group page, which requires a Drupal.org account.
Topics to cover
4a) Meet & Greet
4b) Announcements
4c) Drupalcampnola.com Project Review
We'll review the new drupalcampnola.com sitemap and project distribution.

4e) Project Sub-Teams
We split out into our working groups: design, front-end and back-end to further divide tasks, which may include planning future meetup topics to present on.
