User group meeting

Our Drupal user group meets monthly to share knowledge and exchange ideas. We regularly have live speakers on specific topics such as Drupal development, planning, theming, and workflows.

A similar format from show and tell with two short talks from John and James from Curveagency.

Report from JP Stacey about Drupal Camp London.

A talk from John Cook around unit testing and and how it helped him migrate a free text field into a date field with a mere 54 tests.

James will be talking about how to make simple config pages without code to store all the settings that don't fit into a contributed module.

Nicola from Permaculture is coming to pitch for help with their site, they're a charity which help promote permaculture and are struggling with the requirements gathering and Drupal. This could potentially lead to a meet where we all get involved with helping them spec out some features and put them on the right path to building them.
