We had a great meetup yesterday - the first one, of a lot more to come, attended by 13 of us.
How all of this started:
Anish and me had attended DrupalCon Asia 2016, at Mumbai, a few months back. Inspired and all excited, on our way back home, we were talking all about starting a community back home, at Trivandrum.
But once we were back, we both got pulled into quite a lot of stuff both at work and in our personal lives.
And gradually, all that plan became just a wish, without proper action to take it forward.
And suddenly, Anish came up last week, asking "Hey, how about starting a meetup this week?". And Bam! We were back on track!
We started a Telegram group, brought in a few people we knew, and started talking.
As the date neared, we registered a Drupal Groups page (groups.drupal.org/tvm), started an EventBrite page, and shouted out to our immediate circles, and to the Kerala Drupal Community, mostly based in Cochin.
We knew it was such a short notice, and didn't expect much people. But we just wanted to start. And we started. And that is how it all happened. :)

Thank You Anish, for bringing this up again. If not for you, all that fire that we got from DrupalCon might have just gone down the memory lane.

Till yesterday, we were all just Drupalling to ourselves.
But from today, we are a budding Community - a Community that Drupals together!
